Post by KINGPRAWN »

Do a search - there was a post recently about this very scenario. I think the outcome was that the igniter had burnt itself out.

Well just fiddling around and I got a few pops of ignition much bigger than ever before and in doing this hit a eureka moment... Kitchen roll tube make for a perfect light shield so you can easily see if its lit or not without having to stuff my head into the fridge laying on the floor :ok
It's working now but the red light still DOSENT light??

Just had a thought, V's fridge was odd in that the ignitor would not always work. After some experimenting it seems on hers (Autohomes) depending on how the Zig panel is switched for 12v. It fooled us once or twice but once I realised it was a bit oddly setup we've had no issues.

Clean the fuse in the fuse holder (lower of the two values) N/S B pillar (next to the seat belt reel) retention the holding spring clips.
Lubricate the mechanical 'selector' mechanism (push button block) as it often sticks when dried out.
