Got fuel, got spark,won't start! what next??

Fitted new vacuum hoses today & van is idling a lot better now, went for a drive but van is lacking power & was struggling with any slight incline.. Any Idea's???

I did a compression test, results-#1=148 #2=158 #3=150 #4=159, the plugs out of 1 & 3 looked like running lean but 2 & 4 looked like running a bit on the hot side Does this indicate anything?

I WILL get this van running sweet one day honest!!! Getting there slowly but surely..

possible vacuum leak on brake servo hose, carb is set up for correct CO, but one side running lean one side running rich, high HC if you do a emmisions test yet CO ok
the hose is reinforced with steel which rusts and the hose becomes slightly porous, spraying it with carb cleaner with the engine running will increase the revs and will also track down any other air leaks on the inlet side

Cheers Aiden, The servo hose does look like it's seen better days, just ordered a new one. Fingers crossed

Brake servo hose fitted & still not right, where else can I check for air leak on inlet side??

^^^^ As Aidan said, spraying carb cleaner around the inlet-side components, in a logical, sequential way, will help to track down air leaks. Prime suspects are likely to be carb to manifold gaskets or worn carb throttle spindles, if you've already ruled out vacuum connections.
