Cylinder Head part numbers

Post by chimpey3000 »

Hello...

New to the club so please excuse any lack of info, rambling or poor etiquette..

Currently own a 1988 devon conversion t25, 1.9 water cooled td conversion, based in Nottingham.

Unfortunately on a recent and very short camping trip with the family, head gasket gave way.

Removed head sent of to be skimmed, and pressure tested. Unfortunately the injector ports are heavily corroded and was advised to replace.

Cylinder Head part no. 028 103 373M. Looking to replace with reconditioned head however am struggling to find one of that part no. at reasonable cost (just kampers £587.98) can find 028 103 373N which the engining company believe is the same.

Can anyone shed any light on the matter.

Many thanks

Ash

suffix N is I believe TDi so not the same as your suffix M for a TD engine

Thanks for the reply

Yeah thought N was TDI

Do you know of any alternatives to the M, have found a few online none with the M suffix.

After chatting to a few different people, the general consensuses seems to be many heads with many different suffix will fit, ensuring it is for D or TD

many thanks
