Hi and welcome
I
REALLY REALLY like the look of your camper

Tho the ones taken at night without the flash are not so clear
It looks the same conversion as mine, but mine is boring white all over (all be it with a pale grey stripe).
Firstly, you "ZIG" unit is nothing complicated. It is just some switches really, and some lights to tell you the state of the battery. If the red light comes on on either position (car or van) it means the relevant battery is either dying or in need of a charge. "Car" normally refers to the main starter battery and "Van" is your leisure battery. But these vans are 20 to 30 years old and who can tell what wiring alterations have been done. You really need a multi meter ( = ~£10 from Maplins etc) and a basic understanding of 12 volt electrics to figure it all out. Like have you got a working leisure battery somewhere, and is it getting a charge when the engine is running via a split charge relay ? (etc)
There is LOTS of info about this in our wiki knowledge base, linked to at the top left of every page on here

Here is a sample of some info in there about "Zig" panels =

E D I T = I just noticed, we are a bit short of info on yours (and mine) type of Zig panel
But don't be shy of asking questions
