most vans have the gas underthe sink area, important to have a vent in the floor near it to allow any gas keakage to escape.

Under the floor where you can't put anything else, why waste vital storage on something that can go outside?

You can get a gas bottle holder that goes through the floor in a cupboard.
The bottle is half sunk into the floor.

And I know where there is one.

indeed, if you dont want to spend another 100 and fit a built in tank then these are the way to go,
nothing worse than winter and worrying if the heating will run out

Are there any advantages/disadvantages to the Safefill cylinders compared to the Gaslow refillable system?
