coolant hose size

Post by all-at-21 »

hi all,

Anyone know the internal hose size for this pipe,

Water hose/connector 25x3.5x58 T25 WBX N90128703, heritage do them but always out of stock, its for a small piece of hose from water pump to the head, water cooled 1915 DF engine (84).

Is it in the description ie 25mm internally.....just wondered as i can buy a metre of 25mil for £3.00 on ebay.

cheers chris

Sorry. I've only just seen this now.

£10.70. They are taking the proverbial :roll:

Yes that is what I did. I bought a 1mtr 25mm pipe from the bay of fleas (never saw radiator hose for £3)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330610883237? ... 1439.l2649" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

then I measured the correct length of 58mm and put a jubilee clip around it and using a brand new stanley knife blade I cut the piece off (there are videos of techniques on youtube)

It's handy to have as there are 3 of those pieces on my early system, the one you are talking of, one behind the pulley and one coming from the expansion tank. So I now have spare pipe for all of them in my cooling system spares box I carry on distant holidays just in case they ever blow

Same goes for the 32mm short pipe from the expansion tank N90166601 if you ever need it as that is obsolete :ok

(E D I T: Forgot I also had one of these in my spares box (found it after buying the ebay pipe :roll: it's a fiver with two jubilee clips http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/index.php/j ... -late.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) :ok

(E D I T E D I T: Itchfeet beat me too it)
