hi,just got my first van.its a 1990 t25 1.9 petrol.it has a few problems!

It's in the ignition switch.

No spring inside the switch on mine - replaced it yesterday and dismantled the old one. The key sprang back in the barrel alone still therefore I surmised that the spring is in the barrel!

Oldiebut goodie....pretty sure when you drive the switch with a flat blade screwdriver it does have a spring back mechanism on the last position...
I suppose it could be both but this issue is more commonly the switch itself.

Nope - got it in my hand at the moment - definitely no spring!
