AFN tdi install what other parts do I require?

Hello,

I had a PD130 on mine - introduced a not very happy 180 degree bend. I'd have liked to have rewelded the input so there was a direct line to the intercooler top hose but that was beyond my abilities for sure

sorting the inlet was top of the list for me with my 1Z, its sooooooooo much easier doing pipes with it pointing to the back



luckily I could do it myself but if you ask around your local ind estates I'm sure you will find someone willing to do it for beer money in their lunch hour

Is the pd manifold a direct fit to the afn head? Got access to a rig set so mod wouldn't take a lot of doing. Have u used afn turbo or pd unit or are they the same?

The pd inlet manifold fits an afn head - a lot of pd turbos have integrated manifolds which will sit too low on a 50 degree installation. If your afn has been chipped you'll have to make sure you use the turbo it was mapped for - I used the gt1749va from a pd130 on an afn manifold. As I said though - I also used arp head studs as it produced a lot of boost and I didn't vent it well enough so had oil leak problems.

That's the inlet side of things sorted but what about the exhaust manifold side? Pd inlet with mod looks like a good setup
