Seatbelt jammed!!
Hi all, we fitted an additional 3 point seatbelt on the window side in the back of our leisuredrive conversion a couple of years ago. It's worked faultlessly until yesterday when it decided to jam and not let go. I can ease it out bit by bit but takes about 10 minutes before I've got enough belt to use. Any ideas??

Argh!! These vans!!
After footering about for ages it's started working again, literally seconds after posting my first message!
Almost as frustrating as last weeks stall and refusal to start (for the first time in years) while in the lion enclosure at the safari park......

Re: Seatbelt jammed!!
I've got a couple of aftermarket belts in the back of my beetle, and I find when they jam, you have to try to 're-set' the thing, by moving it away from the vertical, and then back again. (Does that make sense?). I loosen the mounting bolt, move it out of the vertical, try to pull the belt a few times, put it back where it should be, and start again. It usually works after a couple of goes.
Okay, so it's no good if you're already out and about, but they can be freed off with a little bit of work.
