TV Hookup

Post by isaune »

Hi Chaps

Feel a bit lazy asking this question - should have asked at the campsite yesterday really.

Anyway, we stayed at a site where all the pitches had a large TV aerial whose wire disappeared into the post where you get the electricity hook up.

I didn't bother to look too closely because a) our small portable aeriel was working fine and b) we weren't that interested in TV anyway.

However, I did make a mental note to buy a long aerial cable for the van to take advantage of such facilities if we come across them in the future.

HOWEVER, when I was packing up yesterday, I had a good look around the aerial and hook up point and couldn't find any sign of an aerial point to plug into?

Did I just miss this or is there some fancy pants cable-less way of getting the TV signal from the aerial to one's van?

Grateful for clues.

Cheers

Ian
