Clutch problem now sorted

Post by Ralf85 »

My garage fitted a new Sachs clutch and decided to replace the slave with a Sachs one as it was knackered as well. Travelled about 40 miles and the clutch pedal got softer and eventually I could not change gear about 200 yds from home. My local garage came out and towed me to the garage - much quicker than a breakdown service. The new slave turned out to be faulty and was leaking fluid. So they fitted another new one. Thank goodness this did not happen on a motorway or A road. Even more important it did not happen on holiday. Cheers Mike for fixing it!
