thanks for all your help just back from mechanics and got to the 66mph mark with more to go but hey dont want to go to fast...it could cause other issues ! :wink:

What can i do to my 2.0l air cooled to get more than 60mph out of it. Is there any tuning products i can purchase and what gives you the most bang for your buck. Mmmm 'bang' probably isn't the best word to use. Sore subject.

carbs rebuilt still had the original gaskets on the carbs ! NGK spark plugs fitted i know it would run even better if it was taken to a rolling road but tbh rather spend the cash on going away and enjoying it
