Replacement auxiliary water pump

Post by MrCrowley »

Hey all,

I need to replace my auxiliary water pump as it is leaking coolant. I've seen them online priced between just under £90 (Brickwerks) up to £130 elsewhere but T25 direct have second hand ones for £30. Any advice on whether it's worth taking a gamble on the cheap option or am I better off spending more on a new one?

Cheers.

Depends on the length of the piece of string it is fitted with. A second hand one will last somewhere between 1 day and the life of the van. A new one? between the length of the warranty and the life of the van.

For piece of mind - go new. If doing so will prevent you putting a meal on the table, then risk "pre-loved". Just keep your fingers crossed.

Have a nice day :ok
