water pipe
Now the bus is on the road and running again I'm finding a few bits and pieces need attention probably caused by the bus being laid up nearly 2 years ie leaky exhaust manifold joint etc, whilst underneath I noticed a coolant drip, traced it to the small pipe that is clipped around the bulkhead and around the engine bay with T,s branching off to various parts of the system , checked vw heritage and seems to be around 92 quid for a replacement
, so I'm wondering if there's any good reason why I couldn't make my own in copper micro bore and solder in the relevant T pieces, any thoughts from more experienced peeps much appreciated

Re: water pipe
I'd braze one up personaly and add a reverse flare to the ends to help secure the hoses
