primary handbrake cable

Where can i get a primary handbrake cable from for a 1990 t25. mine snapped when trying to adjust. Just cost me £300 as HIC wont extend my 30 days to register an imported vehicle as dvla spent so long sending papers and now it wont pass mot without it and time is running out.

Brickwerks sell em or just weld some threaded bar on the old one

OR used an M6 joiner nut and some stainless M6 threaded bar :ok

thats exactly what i'm going to do. it snapped where the thread ends and carries on the bar. I will tap it with a 6mm die in the morning and hopefully it will work. ;-)

where are you faggie? tried a repair by re threading the end 6mm and put a 6mm stud extender on to join to the new bit of stud. Worked fine until the mot guy did the break test and it just sheared the thread off the old primary cable on the van. good lad still passed it though ;-)
