If too many people buy the cheap chinese "pooh" option there's a significant risk the supply of decent stuff will disappear, and we'll only be able to get "pooh". This has happened widely in the consumer sector in this country.

Don't do it! Support quality manufacturers!

I do agree but...if he proper manufacturers pull the plug on the good stuff...as they may well do...then the poop ones are going to be the only option...but if they haven't sold due to boycotting there won't be any to buy....it's a bit of a catch 22... Most "normal" people will buy the cheapskate ones anyway...only the discerning types will choose to pay more...

Well my clicky cv has turned into a clacky cv :shock: so I rang veedubmachine and talked to a very nice bloke who was familiar with T3 syncro's having seen them on u'tube.

I asked him if they were inferior Chinese copies and were prone to failure but 'apparently' they are from Denmark and he has no knowledge of any failing :roll:

Anyway I decided to take a gamble and order one :shock: 24 hrs later it arrived, looks ok and box marked http://www.jpgroup.dk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(Maybe they are distributors for Chinese 'stuff' ??

As my van is standard and will put less strain on the cv than lifted options it may stand a chance ???

Will keep you posted !!

I know someone who has been running £30 outers for a while and they have been okay.

I'd rather not support the Chinese economy but when there is such a difference in cost I would try the cheaper version first.
