cam pulley
hi just removed my cam pulley & noticed a slot in the cam for whats looks like a key of sum sort on there was nothing in mine so was wondering if there should be or does it just tighten onto the taper

There is no key. The pulley tightens on the taper, so is adjustable. You will need to set up the cam timing properly now it has been removed, or MAJOR engine damaged will occur.
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.
