Wind Noise In Cab Over 50 mph
Over 50 mph I get excessive noise from outside over 50 mph, I've recently had a new windscreen fitted and this hasn't resolved the problems.
Any ideas of how i can resolve this?
Serious comments only.
Thanks

OK, here we go... Do you even know where the noise is coming from? Is it the windscreen? Have you tried taping over various seams/joints/gaps to narrow it down?

Do you have whistle stops (a rubber strip) between The A pillar and the front edge of the door.?

Re: Wind Noise In Cab Over 50 mph
At 50 I have no noise problem but at 100mph its a bit loud.
You can make quite a good reduction by taking the dash out and lining the inside of the front panel with anti droning mats.

Our Westy hightop has a top speed of 298 mph…
…oops, sorry, that should read terminal velocity…
(head on, without driver of course, with spoiler, air density as at sea level, gravity at the equator)
I expect the noise will be the least of your worries in this instance.

Thanks for all your replies, Ady C, can't be the windscreen as the window and seal are brand new. Rob, well check the A pillar for the rubber strips, thanks.
