Good T25 mechanic in West Sussex

Hi all.

Just thought I'd post this guys number on here.

I originally was going to do all the spanner work myself like many, however time got the better if me and I decided to get a pro in to do it quickly in time for this summer.

I'll be honest cost wasn't really my top priority, more someone who filled me with confidence that they knew what they were doing with the T25 engine (I got 2.0l Aircooled).

Anyway after speaking to my neighbour (who is a BMW main dealer technician) who has looked after all my BMWs (currently got X5). He said he'd do the work, but some of the noises he was making about the engine in relation to what I'd read on here didn't marry up. I would say however there isn't anything he doesn't know about BMWs!!!

Anyway, I thought I'd ring around see what the deal was and stumbled onto this guy.

He's a proper petrol head who's done worked on real high performance track stuff.

He's also mobile which was a must for me as my van was "immobile".

As soon as I spoke to him on the phone he talked about the engine knowing exactly the layout on what to do.

He's just reinstalled by carbs and given the whole thing a good going over.

He's also got 3 other T25s on the go, and thought I'd already posted this as I promised I would if he did a good job.

One thing I would warn you of is..... Like all GOOD mechanics, he's busy! It took 2 weeks for him to slot me in. So try to get in early. He does also have a call out charge of £80 which is basically diagnosis time, and weeds out time wasters.
