LHD drive 1600ct Aircooled 1983 accelerator cable

Hi,

Anyone have, or know where i can get a new accelerator cable for my LHD (not RHD...there is a difference) 1983, Aircooled T25???

Have tried all the usual suspects...VW heritage, just kampers, SFG...no joy.

The accelerator peadal sticks down when you press it...doesn't return. Tried cleaning all linkage and blasting with wd40..white grease etc. No difference. I am assuming cable must be bunged up in sleeve.

Are there any german sites that anyone knows of that could have one and send it over to me?
