Hi All
Just bought my first T25 1.9 Petrol. Running fine but have noticed oil coming from up from breather hose connecting to carb air intake. Local garage suggested changing breather but I don't know what is inside it or if there is anything that may need changing (filter element?). Can't find any reference to this with parts suppliers. Any ideas on what may be causing the oil to feed through? Thanks

Re: Oil breather
Inside the breather there is a baffle and a mesh (presumably the idea is for oily vapour to condense and drip back into the crankcase) anyway, take the black tower off (4 M6 nuts/washers) stuff the hole in the engine with clean rag clean out the tower using petrol or diesel, allow to dry. Refit making sure nothing drops into the crankcase and removing the clean rag. Seal the base to prevent oil leak. Refit hose to beret ... these are often in really poor nick and collapse inwards. This is a new one .. http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/index.php/t ... bx-dg.html .

Re: Oil breather
Replace the o-ring seal under the tower too. it will no longer look like an o-ring.
