Hi
Ok fitted one of these -

Also fitted an earth strap on leisure battery and cleaned up connections, replacing all the ones connecting to the new relay.
Went for a good run today and there is still a difference between both batteries, maybe not as big a difference. Thought that it was much more steady and didn't jump about much. During the run the leisure battery stayed about 13.7v and the main battery stuck at 14.2v
When the fridge was switched on, the leisure battery dropped to 13v (still better than before -12.2v)
Now when I start the van, the red battery light on the dash stays on untill I give the accelerator a prod. Quite sure the meter on the starter battery didn't budge when starting or until I gave it a rev. Is it possible I have connected the relay the wrong way round? Could it be one of these relays that only switches at a certain level?
So... Only thing I haven't done is run a wire across both +ve terminals and see what happens? I'll try this with jump leads?
Is it worth mucking about trying to wire the fridge into the relay, if it already is wired correctly?
