How to dismantle Westy California driver's seat?

I'm new to the Forum - spent ages searching but can't find an answer.
The fabric is splitting on the driver's seat squab of our Westy California (swivel Captain's chair type). I've taken the seat out but I can't see how to separate the squab from the rest of the seat. I've tried removing the obvious fixings - allen bolts on the runners and at the side - but it still seemed pretty solid and I didn't want to force anything when I didn't really know what I was doing.
Knowledgeable advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

It's just a VW caravelle seat
Not a westfalia seat
