repairs in high wycombe area?

Post by triplefin »

I acquired a T25 a few months ago and need just a couple of small things done to the van. Does anyone know who specializes in working on these in my area, I live in High Wycombe which is near Oxford.
thanks

What "couple of things"?
Body work?
Running gear?
Engine?
Gearbox?
Interior?
Horses for courses! You could be talking about a new set of curtains or a Subaru engine transplant.

Put your location in your profile along with your vehicle type and engine type and size. Eg, "2.1 doka on LPG", or "Westfailure 1.6td camper". Then people know what you have got and where you are when you need help / advice. without you having to type it in with every post.
By the way, welcome to club 80-90! :ok

Sorry don't know how to put the information on the LH side so I've put it at the bottom.
I've got a bent tailgate arm that will need replacing. It's been taken off but I still use it to prop the back up. Need a new one at some point.
Also would need somewhere at the end of the year to get it serviced and MOTd. Just after any recommendations for any mechanics in the area, if there are any, who work on these.

Near the top of the page on the left hand side, click on "User Control Panel"
On the page that comes up, look along the top menu for "Profile" and click.
In the "Location" box, enter all the details. "High Wycombe - 2.1 panel van." or whatever you like and then save the changes.
The info will then appear on the left of all your posts. :ok

I'm in Oxford if you want to bring it over? The boot lid arms are easy and you can do it yourself in minutes. Servicing by a Haynes manual and save yourself a fortune on getting people to do work.
You can say alot of of things with "ar"

Most people buying these lovely vehicles do so because they are relatively cheap yet very functional. However, you are going to need very deep pockets if you intend to have your buses every need carried out at a garage.
Learn how to do the basics and save yourself a fortune. Take the old girl to a garage only when you absolutely have to.

I'm a girl with no mechanical skills what so ever so am prepared to pay someone to service and do what ever is needed on my van. It is in immaculate condition and was a very lucky find. It had been owned by an elderly couple for 18 years who loved it but finally decided that they would sell it this year. I've got a FSH from them as they had all the work carried out at a garage that was fairly near them, but it's 2 hours from me. Obviously I need to keep looking.
Thank you Phil for your kind offer I'm just going to PM you about where I can source parts as my neighbour will replace the tailgate arm for me.
