when friend did his he made new caliper mounting brackets, you can buy them but they are really expensive as they have to come with tuv approval

If those brackets are the ones that you can buy off ebay.de - they are not TüV approved. The material is but the bracket is not.
It usually state "Nicht im Bereich der StVZO zugelassen!" which means they are not road legal over here as they are untested parts.

i am on about the claer items , when friend did his he gave me the dimensions for them , but did not want to make them for me as they did not come with any sort of approval , most of the parts sold on uk ebay ie steel wheel adapters are not tested , i received some where they had broken through on the threads due to the wall thickness being so thin

As I don't have any spare wheels big enough to put the new set up on, have to wait for these!

Man....... trying to release the lower ball joint!!! just wont come out.

Anyone have any tips? Will a ball joint splitter work on the lower ball joint as its a big old boy!!
