Speedometer Cable Fouling New Wheel Hub Covers

Post by staffscampers »

I have bought some new stainless steel wheel covers, the nice shiny ones that you see on all the best campers !! I probably should have bought the moon covers because these are quite shallow and on the front passenger side wheel they won't fit over the dust cover that is connected to the speedometer cable.

Is there a solution to this that allows me to use the covers I have bought. I really prefer them to the moon covers.

Hi

Ive got to cut mine down to allow me to get my centre caps to fit me alloys , got a machine spare at work this week so gonna have a go Ill let you know how i get on. They dont seem to come up second hand on the bay of fleas as ideally I could do with a couple to cut down and then do a swop with anybody who requires some

:ok

Is the grease cap fully home on the hub, some are quite tight and don't always go down the the ridge.
