I've driven my hightop everyday for 3 years now and never had a problem with wind and sudden lane changes lol as others have said it must be something underneath that needs changing or upgrading. As for a vote I don't know where people with pop tops put all there stuff!!

I'll never forget that night in Wensleydale when Disco Dave & Kate's poptop closed on them during the night .... we woke up to be told it had been VERY windy overnight
Same as the great Blue Hills hurricane of last year ??

I vote high top. Personally prefer the look and style and practicality as a camper. Love that there is literally nothing to do aside crack open a beer when arriving on the campsite.
Yes the wind can be a challenge at times but the more I drive it the better I handle it. I love having to think about driving which I just don't when driving my car.
But it's each to their own and what's more important to individuals.....
