1.6TD JX Water Pump

Hope you can help my water pump is leaking and am just asking what is involved the bit i can see looks fairly simple but part of it goes under cam cover which i cant see. So what has to come off and how difficult is it. Thanks in advance Simon C.

Hi Simon I did mine recently I removed the alternator and its mounting bracket the rest was very straight forward

Thanks bowesy. Got a pump today and have got half way through and its going ok when i first looked i thought the front had to come off the pump but ive got the whole housing so think i will be ok. :D :D :D :D

Yeah that's what I got the only problem
I encountered was the o ring to the engine block came out so I used a tiny amount of automotive silicone just to hold the o ring in made it much easier
