Spark plug hole threaded

Post by nutbox »

Hi there,
I have been trying to do a compression test on my cu engine, and after trying to get the spark plug back in on no 3 the spark plug threaded.
So I went and brought a 14mm back tapper which you thread into hole to bottom of thread and then expand the tool and then back out the tool to make thread good.
Anyway after running it a few times I realized that something had worked its way out with it,so I put my pinky down there and it seems like a spring of some sort,so I am guessing it has had a helicoil fitted.
If this is the case what can I do?
All help appreciated thanks dazz :ok
