brickwerks 3 point belt kit problem

Post by badgerfax »

Hi can anyone help out?

I am trying to fit 3 point belt kit from Brickwerks but am having problems

The belt wont come out for one and the more I fiddle with it the more gets wound in. this is driving me mad :x
Is this a user error or a dodgy belt :?:

I have a westy so all the anchor points are there but there's no fitting instructions so I haven't a clue which bolts and numerous washers should go where for a safe install.

If anyone could point me in the direction of a previous "how to" i'd be grateful as my searches have turned up nowt.

Off to swear some more now

Unbolt the reel, and try to wind it out gently, with the reel at various angles - the doofy that stops it from winding out in a crash is position-dependent, and if it's mounted on the wonk, it can cause problems.

Hi Adrian, Yep trying this as we speak & been at it for a while now. Belt is straight out the pack and has not come out at all however gently or whatever angle I try at.

Does make me wonder if I have a duff one.

Do like to try & work things out but this has got me right bent out of shape
