How easy is it to fit a gas leak in a Westy?

Post by winnies travels »

My Westy gas bottle has a leak, does anyone what the cost would be to sort it out? For the short term I will run off a camping gaz bottle for the hob and 120v transformer for the fridge whilst on site.

Is it worth even contemplating fixing the underside bottle with all the regulations that will come in to play?

Cheers.

The bottles don't leak. Do you mean a connecting hose? They are supposed to be changed regularly. My previous regulator fell apart and scared the pants off me. Is that what is knackered and leaking?
