Hi ive got a 1.7 diesel that the revs are sticking, its not the cable or anything as that pulls back, the only way to get the revs down is put it in gear and take the "drive up",the revs then settle down niecly, its got to be something in the pump, hasnt it,any ideas?thanks Adam

Disconnect the cable from the pump and see if it still sticks when operated manually.

Guess you need to change the pump then - or get yours reconditioned.

I'm not aware of any guides or amateurs that have taken a pump apart. Sorry....
