205/70/15 pic wanted

im about to purchase my tyres and im going to lower my westy about -50 and Steve on here the resident wheel guru suggested i could go up to 205/70/15 so has any one got the same combo so i can see what it would look like cheers Rik

Remember I only suggested that size for the rear to lower the revs on your TD Westy.
When lowering 50mm you could risk tyre/arch contact on the front with that size tyre.
I would suggest either 195/70/15C's or 205/65/15C's....depending on the width of the alloys?
205/65/15's are also available as car tyres and in 99 load rating so they could also be used on the front.
There's no 'r' in bought!

Yep sorry Steve i should have added the front to be smaller speaking to my tyre guy yesterday he was struggling to find a 205/65/15 in a commercial tyre if the tyre wheel combo fills the arches well my lowering wont need to be -50 maybe 35/40ish

He had 2 in 205/70/15 cant remember the make it was a well known make but that manufacturer didnt supply 20/65/15
Anyway as you have shown there's plenty of others to choose from just would like to see how they fill the arches .. :)
