Sliding door rubs along body panel

Post by Pullafacial »

Hi guys,

Collected my first camper last night and although very pleased indeed, I have a few niggly problems.
One of which is when the sliding door is being opened/closed, the furthest point towards the back falls in towards the body and is marking the paintwork.
Maybe there's a spring missing or something but I can't figure it out!

Any help would be great,

Thanks

Take the cover plate off and inspect the runner track, it may have rotted away or got bent

Thanks,

Finally had a look today and there was a bit with a lug on that had been fitted the wrong way round.

Surprisingly simple!

Our's did this .. the bottom roller had worn through the base plate it runs on (the roller can wear away too). Since replaced with a lovely thick stainless plate 8)
