Is there such a thing as a ATF oil cooler for this? Brickwerks show 2 examples for a 2.1 Diesel, but those i believe are for engine oil.(or am i wrong...or can they be used?)
I know the ATF runs through the rad to help cool things down, but i'm thinking that a oil cooler would be usefull when loaded and going up hills, etc.
I can get a heater matrix from a Fiat Punto for free and i thinking that i could cut the pipe to the radiator, insert the matrix somewhere around that area where the grill could allow cool air to pass through. But would this work? Is the internal matrix pipes too small/too big for proper oil flow or pressure? I know I would have to adept the intake an outake matrix pipes to fit the smaller ATF pipe going into the radiator, that i'm not to worried about. And naturally the would be a call for extra ATF to make up the diffferance of more space
Just not sure
