Hi there,
I am looking to trim my van with veltrim stretchy lining carpet and would like to trim around the windows,
What I was wondering is do I need to take out the windows to do this or can it be done with them in?
Also because I will be have a camping interior do I need fit ply side panels behind them or can I leave them out.?
Thanks dazz

Re: Veltrim carpet
Well my thought is to cut it around the window but I dont know whether after time it would lose stick and peel up.

Re: Veltrim carpet
is it a panel van or caravelle? if its panel van youll have a lip inside that its possible to finish with some knock on edging giving a nice pro finish....
behind the cupboards .... well mine is a leisure drive conversion and they seemed to go for ply lining behind rear unit but not behind fridge as need airflow and flu pipe also passed through so would have been pain to fit i guess also the units are backed with ply so if they fit nicely your effectively ply lining the panel behind,i've since added 2 layers of foiled bubblewrap insulation behind for retaining heat , alot depends on appliance layout cupboard design and personnal preference ,post some more details and im sure someone will give you the answer your looking for...

Re: Veltrim carpet
My van has factory fitted windows but can't see of any way of finishing the carpet off?
Maybe I can lift the seal up and tuck it under.
I have a new professional made units from tranzwagon I think I shall trail fit and see what happens.
Cheers dazz
Ps if anybody has picture of when they were fitting lining carpet that would be great.

Re: Veltrim carpet
had a few area that wasn't sure how to finish and went for the fold 20mm back creating soft edge to butt up against seal approach
