Leisure Drive replacement Window Seals Help

Post by daysofthunder »

Hi there

Just got an mot on the van now its time for a respray as its been off the road for around 10 years

Im looking to replace the window seals as they are shot . From what it looks like they are similar to old mini front windscreen rubbers with a chrome fillet to lock in place

Has anyone on here replaced their leisure drive seals ?

I am looking at suitable ones on seals direct but im not 100% sure what type to use

Also to mention it has a louver wide window with similar rubber seal

Cheers

i think for panel to window 5mm -2mm think they do a 3mm -1.6mm but they to narrow and small(tried and tested ), i had abit of a mare with louvre window and ended up using 3mm-3mm seal then bought lenght of 25mmx1.25mm neoprene strip to make up the difference and glued to the inside of frame and panel ended up with nice snug fit all the way round,

p.s.think metalmickey can supply correct seals for sides :ok
