Wiring advice.... which is which???

Post by lowlifedubz »

Can anyone tell me what each of these wires is???

purple & black =
yellow & red =

To give this a little bit of background; we have undertaken an engine conversion in the T25 (1986 originally 1900 DG). The wires pictured are part of the original loom (on the van). The colours don't seem to correspond with those in the haynes manual so we are scratching our heads a bit as to where to attach them onto the new engine (1800 8v pb - golf GL type engine).

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Mikey :ok

That was easy. Mikey you need to get the same manual as Kev ;-)
If there's no oil under it then there's no oil in it.
