Hellooooooooo
Any ideas why my washer would not be working please?
It has water in it and wipers work ok but no washer!!!

Could be a couple of things.
1) Blockage of the water jets. A pin inserted gently into a jet will show if that is the problem.
2) If the washers were working until recently then it's probably the electric washer pump - either the connections are corroded or the pump is kaput. Check the connections first.

Check the switch contacts aren't full of fluff and crud, its visible by the steering wheel.

Mine stopped working. I removed the reservior and found the pump was fine then I removed the steering wheel cowling and used a combination of switch cleaner from maplin, a cotton bud and a fine nail file board and cleaned up the contact. Works fine now

You will need to drop the washer bottle from under the left hand side of your van. I blocked up under the bottle as it was quite full, then slackened off all retaining bolts & the filler neck, gradually lowering it on to the blocking. Once off I tested the pump & found it was ok!! Eventually found that the switch contact was dirty!!
