Spray Job Required - North East London

Post by timthemod »

Can any forumees recommend a sprayer in North East London, or even North or East London, needed to do full outside pant job, need some rust sorted, but generally body is very straight.

Went to Sean's Spraying in Tottenham today, but he wasn't interested, too much work, and he said it would take him a month. Bit disappointed as he was recommended on here.

Thanks

I can understand why he would not want to do it. There will be serious rust and possible body damage hidden under the paintwork, after over 25 years on the road. Most people only want to do patch up paint jobs on new cars.

A month sounds about right to do the job properly. Taking all the doors off, taking the windows out, followed by sandblasting, followed by replacing the wrecked panels hidden beneath the paint. Then welding new panels in plus all the preparation plus new window seals et etc. It's a huge job. Between £3K and £5K in this part of the world. I couldn't find anybody within the M25 to do this work. I had to go to the wilds of Hertfordshire to get the work done to mine. If you do find somebody on recommendation, let everyone know.

Its that part of the world just outside the M25 but before you get back to civilisation, ie Birmingham.

Don't know of any in North or East London Tim, but Ben (batmangb) had a quality job done on his van in Orpington (about 20 miles from you). Drop him a PM for details if your interested. Here's the link to his thread:

Ralf can you let us know who you used in Herts and would you recommend them? Could be useful for me.
