Westaflia sliding window Fly Screens

Post by ginja_ninja »

Hi,

I was looking at getting the windows on my California tinted, but the built in Fly Screens on the sliding side windows will need to come out to do it properly.
I've had a look and cant see any obvious way of getting them out, short of breaking them!

Has anyone got some guidelines on how to get these out, and back in again??

Thank you!
I now have a 3rd child; more expensive and demanding than the other 2!

I removed mine a few weeks ago. Use a small flat blade screw driver to gently lift the clipped pieces along the bottom edge of the screen. Then slide the screen towards the centre of the window and it should come out slowly.

Take your time and don't use too much force.
