Hi mate,

I can't help with the cable size, but my personal view is to keep the zig.

When I got my van, the wiring was a mess nothing worked. I pretty much started again but i'm glad I did, there is one panel with easy access. Word of warning, make sure the wiring instructions are for the correct model, I did notice differences.

use the zig to distribute your 12v power. lights, water pump etc but use a relay as the split charge as you have to manually switch the zig to do it and it is annoying. :ok
