intermittent wipers

Post by monkeyboysee »

can someone please clarify for me,

i've been looking at the stuff on the Wiki, i've got an 1981 Aircooled with torpedo fuses, does that mean the relay 19 won't work unless a do shedloads or rewiring etc?

cheers

There is not much wiring to do, see my post and the links within it here..

I have the early fuse box too and working methodically I did the Mod in an afternoon. You don't have to put the relay where I did most just tape it to the steering column as described in the Wiki, but I decided to keep things a little more tidy and use an empty relay "socket" above the fusebox.

Good luck, and don't forget if you don't have the relay yet get a 99 relat instead of a 19 relay so you get variable intermittent wipers :ok
