Fridge...

Hello all
I have just purchased my first vw camper van (t25)
the existing fridge needs replacing, it is an Electrolux rm212 f.
Does anybody know of a good replacement I can use??

Fix the existing fridge - there is very little that cannot be repaired on it.
What is wrong with it?

There is a really strong petrol like smell inside the fridge, and after
several cleans and hours of airing, it dosent seem to be getting any better

That is usually ammonia type of smell due to having been left shut for long periods.(Worse if you have kept skate in the fridge ) Washing with bicarbonate of soda may help. People have used a cut lemon, charcoal, etc..
There is no connection with petrol on a fridge.

will give the bi carb a go, don't really want to pay for new if can be avoided..

And then leave the fridge door open for a week to assist the smell to dissipate.
