how much fuel goes in a t25 petrol tank before overfow into

Which is 60 ltrs

And if your fuel gauge is as accurate as most 20 year old gauges ..... you wont know how much is in there to start with.

Point is....it shouldn't overflow and the nozzle should cut out.
In reality however, they can plash out a little fuel just at the point of being full.
The other reality is: your tank and all it's associated pipework needs to be in good condition to be 'fuel tight'...often breather pipes and even the top of the tank, can be split/corroded and this is only apparent when you see the fuel dripping the first time you fill the tank to the top.
