Post by project25 »

Am I being an impatiant southener. I have left 2 answer phone messages last week with no response. How long have others had to wait?

Phoning might be the best bet. But they often have to finish a couple of jobs before getting started on another. Did they give an indication of timescale?

Hi, Looks like I'll have to wait a bit longer, I didnt get any time scale, guess thats my fault. O well plenty of other jobs to do like fit out a complete inside. I didnt want to do the inside till I was happy with the engine.

HI, He does take a while but worth the wait, my Carb looked brand new when it came back.

I also struggled to get hold of him, but when I did you cant get him off the phone, top bloke with loads of VW knowledge.

Think my carb took about a Month in the end, as he rebuilds it then test runs it on one of his own engines, hence the time I guess.
