1988 T25 with 3ft hole in roof
Hi
I bought my transporter as a summer project to convert to a day van. It has a 3ft square hole cut in the roof above the twin slider doors. A perspex cover cam off during transport. Anyone have any thoughts on how best to seal this, ie perspex, rivet or weld? It looks as though someone was going to fit a sliding sun roof but bailed out. Cheers. Sean.

No, not that one. Same colour but Microbus rather than Caravelle. Round headlights, not square.

Riveria roof?
No experience of the company, looks like a nice roof option, but may be more hassle than worth, would be good to know if anyone on here has any experiences of them.

Thanks folks. I am holding off on filling the hole - would ideally like to fit a sunroof pop top when i have the cash. Any ideas on what i can do beforehand as a stop gap. Not sure if she will fail an mot with a 4ft sq hole in the roof???

About the only possible is sharp edges, if the tester decides they could injure a pedestrian... Just some knock-on edging would get you round that. Or a tester with some common sense.
