Stripes for my van!

Hi

Ok, so I'm a newbie here and have only recently bought my first van. An '81 hightop which is having a new interior put in now. Externally, it's painted entirely white and I want to break it up with a retro stripe running horizontally along the body work. I'm struggling to find these on line. Can anyone recommend somewhere / anyone who can help get me my stripes!? I'm based down in Surrey, so south england would be great.

Any ideas or suggestions would be really great!

You could try a local sign-maker, I got some stripes made up for my motorbike by one in Plymouth. They print them up on vinyl to any design & size you want. They did all the lettering & logos as well for less than £25. I took down a photo of the bike with the stripes digitally added and they scaled them up to fit the bike.

Here's a copy of a reply I got when I asked a similar question which maybe helpful - and Sarah's a club member too.
Got my stripes through the post after agreeing the design by e-mail.
Depends if you know how to apply them, but was much more cost effective than the local sign writers.


We have many Decals already available on our website www.mosake-partners.com but we can also supply custom decals to your requirements. We have in the past supplied The Villa 3 Logo to a customer, and going off your image the rest would be pretty simple to replicate. Thanks for all the replies. I thought I had a good look on ebay, but maybe not thorough enough! I was down on the coast today in Sussex and saw a lovely 2 tone van - painting would be my preference but it's just so expensive I'll have a look at these ideas. Cheers!
