Accelerator cable jammed.

Hi

I am trying to change the accelerator cable on my 82 rhd van. I have detached the cable at the pedal and at the carbs, but it just won't come free. It appears to be stuck in the sheath somewhere above the fuel tank. Does anyone have a top tip on how to pull it free and how on earth I will feed the new one through?

loosen the cable of at front of van and take out the bend inthe plastic tube , to do this its clipped to chassis under floor on drivers seat , then you can straighten the white plastic tube and it should pull out if you lie on spare wheel carrier you can see the condition of outer tube maybe it has broken where its mounted over top of tank
