Replacing curtain behind cupboards

Post by nobbyfox »

We would like to replace the original curtains with some modern material (keeping the originals of course)
But access behind the rear is very restrictive. Do I have to remove the cupboards?

Thanks

Undo the curtain rail from the driver's door end and slide the old ones off and new ones on.

Is the curtain that goes behind the 'wardrobe' fastened at the end nearest the back? If so, can you just unhook the curtain hook by reaching in from the back door then pull the curtain along inside to where you can reach it and in hook. Reattach new curtain in reverse order - if any of that makes any sense, and assuming your curtains are hung on hooks on the rail, and assuming you have a wardrobe type cupboard, and assuming.......... Ahhhhh praps your curtains are on a totally different rail to mine

Yes its the wardrobe one. Its a Westy interior and to be honest I can't remember if the rail goes all the way from the front to the back without any hindrance.
I will have a look tomorrow. Thanks guys
